Sarah Marble, BS Ed

Education and Community Outreach Director

"Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can."  - Arthur Ashe

Meet Sarah

Sarah came to Iowa Family Counseling in 2020 with a background in education. She has always viewed her role as a mentor, supporter, and cheerleader to be some of the most important aspects of being an educator. Sarah is happy to use her experience to further Iowa Family Counseling’s mission to serve and support the children and families of Iowa.

Sarah graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Anthropology and began working within the community service field in Southeast Iowa. After she relocated to Omaha with her family, she decided to extend her ability to serve the community by pursuing a degree in education. She was awarded her Bachelor of Science in Education and began her teaching career. Sarah thought for several years, always working to prioritize the social-emotional and mental health needs of her students.

Sarah contributes to Iowa Family Counseling's goals within the practice as well as the larger community by providing a variety of supports to our clinical and administrative staff. She is responsible for collaborating with Iowa Family Counseling’s practitioners to create educational blogs, professional development, community outreach programming, and educational resources. She is also charged with designing and maintaining our print and digital presence, press releases, and social media outreach.

Please contact Sarah if you or your organization are interested in hosting educational programming or professional development covering a variety of mental health care topics. We are happy to work with you to develop programming that will fit the needs of your business or organization.
