We respectfully acknowledge that the land upon which Iowa Family Counseling stands in Kalona, Iowa, is the traditional and ancestral homeland of the Meskwaki Nation (Sac & Fox) and Ioway peoples. We honor their enduring connection to this land, their rich cultural heritage, and their contributions to the community.

We also recognize the broader history of the indigenous peoples who have lived on and cared for these lands over generations. Their resilience, strength, and traditions continue to enrich our understanding and appreciation of this region.

As we work towards fostering understanding and healing within our community, we commit to honoring this land and the original stewards by seeking to build relationships based on respect and partnership.
